In our modern pluralistic society, the notion of heaven has often been disassociated from any belief or faith in God. Many assume that almost anyone who dies enters a place of rest and peace. A Trusted Friend, Women's Study NEW For High School YOUTH & ADULTS
Are you a trusted friend? It is fun to be a friend in the easy times, but what about the hard times? Are you a good listener when a friend has a problem? Do you know what to say when someone shares bad news with you? In this class, you will learn and practice relational skills that will make you a more effective friend. The best model of helping is Jesus Himself “the ultimate trusted friend” who gave us the Spirit’s power to equip us for every good work. In this class, we will learn to reflect Him even more as we serve God and others! Bring your Bible and a friend.
Great Stories of the Bible, Wednesdays with Pastor Sam & Penny
NEW for ADULTS class begins January 11th
The Bible is a book of human life with true stories of heroes, prophets, and martyrs, as well as sinners, cowards, and weaklings, just as we see in the world around us. Join us as we read about the first baby in the world, the great ship that saved eight people, the midnight wrestling match, the golden image and fiery furnace, the angel by the altar and much more. We'll look for you in January. Class starts at 6:30pm.
